![]() Braking: Nothing from behind the wheel indicates that this is a truck. Not a particularly great-sounding engine but not entirely annoying either. Engine starts to feel good around 3,500 rpm and holds that thrust till it shifts at 6,000 rpm. The revs climb kind of slowly and settle around 2,000 rpm and the car leaves a line with a little bit more urgency, but it's nowhere near what we typically experience with a proper dual-clutch launch control launch. Our quickest run was powerbraking in Sport mode with traction control turned off, for the sake of it. Transmission shifts nice and quickly too. The 2.5T engine is pretty nice and because of the all-wheel drive, there's no wheelslip even with traction and stability control turned off. However, it will rev match on downshifts and it does so pretty nicely with its steering wheel-mounted paddles.
